Rod & Reel Warranty

Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's brand rods and reels are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase against defects in materials, workmanship, and against breakage under normal fishing conditions, to the original purchaser. This warranty is void if the rod or reel is in an abused or misused condition and does not cover "normal wear and tear." A dated proof of purchase is required for warranty validation.

The following brand rods are warranted for ten (10) years:  Johnny Morris Platinum Signature, Johnny Morris Signature Series, Johnny Morris CarbonLite 2.0 and Johnny Morris Patriot.

While Browning Fishing is not a Bass Pro or Cabela's brand, we do offer a one (1) year warranty on these items.

Rods and reels manufactured by other companies need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement under warranty after 60 days from date of purchase.


Footwear Warranty

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's private label brand footwear carries a one (1) year warranty against manufacturer defects on boots, shoes, and waders. This is a limited warranty and does not cover normal wear and tear.


Other Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's Branded Merchandise

Our private label brand merchandise carries a one (1) year warranty against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. 


Other Merchandise

After 60 days from the purchase date, all electronics that are covered by the manufacturer's warranty should be returned to the manufacturer. Items not covered by manufacturer's warranty may be returned (with proof of purchase) on an inspection basis only.

NOTE: Merchandise covered by manufacturer's warranty must be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair.

Westland Exact Fit Boat Covers

For the 6 year warranty on these covers, we have 24-month free replacement.


Prowler Trolling Motors

We honor a one (1) year warranty on BPS Prowler trolling motors against defects and workmanship. Proof of purchase is required. Customers should return it to a store if it was a store purchase, and send to ODW Rod and Reel Repair if it was a catalog or online purchase.
